About The Event

Mind & Body Programme - SHEAC

Bringing a taster of our Mind & Body Programme to Stamford.  Spend an afternoon with us learnng some wonderful different ways that can help you make some small, effective changes to your daily and weekly  routine to create a more healthy, happy life. For your physical, mental and emotional health.


•    Experience a range of different ways to add to your Health Toolkit

•   Take part in a range of simple interesting and fun practical sessions that could easily be introduced into your lifestyle

This is an interactive event.

The session is free, and refreshments will be provided by Stamford & District Lions

The 7 Pillars of Health with Amanda Whitehead, Health & Wellness Director of the Wellness Network CIC  Different methods to help improve your Lifestyles by improving your mental, physical and emotional health.

The Wheel of Needs with  Johanna Thompson, Community Development Director of the Wellness Network CIC.  Interactive snapshot of where you are in all areas of your life and how you can take some small steps to make big improvements.

Resilience with Rosalyn Palmer.  Reset Your Resilience In just 40 minutes you'll embark on a transformative

journey (including a short guided meditation) to reset your mind, start to release old blocks, and replenish your body, mind, and soul. Learn how to reset your resilience and find moments of joy, no matter what life throws at you.

Mindfulness – What is it? With Peter Ison. During this talk, Peter will be discussing how mindfulness can be incorporated into everyday life. Covering what mindfulness really is and demonstrating practical techniques that focus on the body and the breath
