About The Event
Introduction to the Mind & Body Programme
The Introduction to the Mind & Body Programme is a weekly two and a half hour programme that provides a space to talk and let you express your feelings in a safe and supported environment. Â We will help you develop your own plan and coping strategies by going on a step by step journey to find out what you need to help yourself.
We will work through a workbook so you can make notes and put down ideas about the session. Â The programme is to help you find your purpose and make good choices putting you back in control.
Burton Road doesn't have a natural area to walk around so we will do some light exercise each week for 20 minutes to get you moving a bit and to break up the session. Â We will have a range of accessbile options so please don't panic. Â If you really don't want to take part it will not exlcude you from the course.

- Meal planning
- Communication and Language
- Journaling
The Programme is about informing you about options and empowering you to make the right choices for you. Â You can only make informed decisions when you have the correct education and knowledge, so we are going to bring you some light bulb moments that will enable you to do just that.
We are all unique therefore we all have different needs and different ways to fufil them. Â Let us share with you some ways to move you forward, you chose which ones you take on board.
